Home-Use Products

Home-Use Products are available to offer your patients even better and more comfortable care. These products offer relief to a variety of common oral and dental symptoms. Contact us or your local DentalPharm Sales Representative for more information and a script to provide your patients.

As a dentist all you need to do is write the prescription for the patient and fax it in. We do all the rest. We will contact the patient and ship directly to their home. We also handle insurance, co-pays and billing.

Take a look at some common formulations below. We can also fill customized prescriptions of other formulations that you see fit for your patient's needs.

(home-use)

Miracle Mouthwash (ulcers/pain): Antacid/Lidocaine/Diphenhydramine/ with or without Nystatin

ØSIG: Swish for 1 minute, then spit. Do not eat 30 minutes prior to and do not eat or drink 30 minutes after use. Use as often as needed, as directed by dentist.

Beta Paste (ulcers/pain): Betamethasone 0.05%/Lidocaine 2%

ØSIG: Apply topically to ulcers 3 to 4 times a day.

BMS Wash (burning mouth syndrome): Salicylic Acid 0.3%/Deoxy-D-Glucose 0.2%/Beta Glucan 1%

ØSIG: Swish and spit up to 3 times a day as needed.

Acyclovir 5% Lip Balm (cold sores)/ with or without Ibuprofen 2% and/or Lidocaine 1%

ØSIG: Apply to affected area(s) with a clean Q-tip up to 5 times per day.

TM Cream (TMJ): Ketoprofen 10%/Cyclobenzaprine 1%/Gabapentin 5%/Lidocaine 5%

ØSIG: Massage into joint 3 times daily.

Corner Cream (non-healing cracks): Betamethasone/Nystatin/Diphenhydramine/Mupirocin

ØSIG: Apply to corners of mouth 3 times a day.

Promethazine Topical Cream (nausea/vomiting)

ØSIG: Apply 1 to 4 pumps (12.5mg-50mg) to inner wrist every 4 to 6 hours for nausea/vomiting.

TS Gel (Thumb sucking) 5% Sucrose Octaacetate Gel

ØSIG: Apply to thumb(s) as needed.

Mouth Kote (For long-lasting relief of dry mouth and throat. Moistens, lubricates, sugar & alcohol free, lemon-lime taste)

ØSIG: Shake well & spray in the mouth 3-5 times, swirl for 8-10 seconds, then swallow or spit out. Use as often as needed to maintain moistness.
